Emma & Mark

a traditional church wedding and a quirky wedding reception…

Emma & Mark had their Yorkshire wedding photography cover the whole day.  Starting at home with Emma and all the girls the prosecco and selfies were plentiful!  Harry (the bride and grooms son) managed to maim me with a well aimed ninja back fist punch to the groin BUT I carried on regardless! Spofforth Church played host for the ceremony before the wedding party headed to Spofforth Castle for the formal group shots and couples portraits.  The weather was fantastic!I have never taken photographs of a bride turning up at her reception in a tractor but this was a highlight for them and Harry. The Engine Shed in Wetherby is a fantastic venue with loads of character and plenty of exploring for the little guests too.  Some beautiful lighting over the tables made for some really different colours in the photos.  Quite a dramatic sky in the later part of the evening meant we could capture a few extra portraits with Emma and Mark which is always a summer wedding bonus.
